How long will the mats last?
Eco Viva mats are made to the best attainable standards from UV treated recycled polypropylene. Whilst their quality and durability are of the utmost standard, we are hesitant to make assertions on the longevity of the product as there are so many variables including care, exposure to continuous direct sunlight, contact with abrasive cleaners etc.
Do they get hot in the sun?
Our customers believe the mats are cooler than carpet when placed in the sun.
How are the mats cleaned?
The mats can be vacuumed, washed down with soapy water or even hosed do wn. They dry easily and quickly. They won’t mildew, rot or retain a musty odour. Please do not use bleach.
Are they soft to sit on?
Their soft tubular threads make them surprisingly soft to sit on. Being recycled plastic it’s natural to think the texture would be slightly rough but the mats are really soft
